Albany: Guided Fort Tour June 2017

June 17 at 9:00am to at 11:30am

With a place as significant as Fort Griffin was during its heyday, there are countless stories to be told about military life at the fort in the 1870’s, Indian raids, battles with Quanah Parker and the Comanche, pioneer settlers, gamblers, and outlaws. Join us for an hour and half long guided tour of the fort. We will retell the stories of Fort Griffin and the Texas frontier, and help you venture back in time for an experience you will not easily forget! For those with limited mobility for the guided walking tour, there will be electric golf carts available to be checked out at no additional cost.
