Weslaco: Bird Walks with Richard Deen

Repeats every week every Thursday until Thu Nov 15 2012.
October 18 at 8:30am to at 12:00pm

Frontera Audubon Society presents Bird Walks with Richard Deen Thursday mornings in October and November. Bird walks at the Frontera Audubon Thicket will be at 8:30 a.m. beginning October 18, 2012, and will be held Thursdays until November 15, 2012.

Mr. Deen has been a valued supporter/member of Frontera Audubon for many years with his coordination of volunteer projects such as the Wetlands Boardwalk.  He began birding in the Valley in 1975 and now is primarily involved with the Llano Grande Lake Park Birding Club. He has always taken a keen interest in birds and has spent many years enjoying the beauty of the birds while traveling in all 50 states and Costa Rica and Mexico.

While living in Evanston, Wyoming, Rich was the coordinator for the Audubon Christmas Bird Count for many years, and he has taught birding classes and led tours in that part of the country.
